RPA announce new payment entitlements for orchards, tree fruit and nursery stock

Farmers growing permanent crops such as orchards, vines and nursery trees will now be able to claim the Single Payment Scheme for these previously ineligible crops under new scheme announcements.

Those wishing to claim these entitlements must register the parcels of land concerned with the RPA in order to receive the relevant entitlements in 2009 ready for claiming under the 2010 SPS claim.
